Clive...
Clive is one half of the dynamic vocal duo that fronts "Superfly". He is a singer of considerable experience in both a live situation and the recording studio. Clive has performed with the "RTE Concert Orchestra" and has been one of the main vocalists in the "Modern Gospel Ensemble" for the past three years. Apart from various solo projects Clive has performed with numerous acts including "Canteloupe", "Receipe for Jam".
Josie...
Josie is an incredibly gifted singer and has the CV to prove it. Like Clive she has performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra and Modern Gospel Ensemble. Josie has also performed with the "Happy Mondays" and "Jerry Fish & the Mudbug Club" to name but a few. She has also appeared in John Sheridan's movie "The Boxer" where she recorded a song for the original soundtrack and performed it in the movie. It's only when you hear Josie perform songs by the likes of Aretha Franklin (Think) or Nina Simone (Feelin' Good) that you get a glimpse of this soul sister's immense talent.
Rory...
Rory is without doubt the heartbeat of Superfly and has been a veteran of the music circuit for the past fifteen years. An amazing achievment for a man of his years. His flamboyant drum style and soulful vocals are an integral part of the Superfly sound and have to be seen and heard to be believed. He has shared the stage with some of the greats (U2, Bob Dylan) with his current band "The Walls" and has recorded and performed with pretty much all of the country's best musicians and artists.
Geoffrey...
A uniquely talented musician, Geoffrey plays a number of different instruments but it is his astounding ability as a bass player that sets him apart from the average musician. A seemingly tireless worker and preacher of "The Funk", Geoffrey has performed with a huge list of acts including "Boogie Nights", "Hacienda That", "The Madchester Experience", "Kevin Doyle" aka "Elvis - The Way It Was" and the "Glitterbugs" to name but a few. He also works as a full-time recording artist with many original artists and is set to release an album with his own band "The Prescriptions" in early 2007.
Joe...
Not just a pretty face, Joe is an extremely versatile and talented musician. As well as playing all of the rhythm and lead guitar parts for the band, he also sings many of the vocal harmonies that colour the superfly sound. Joe has performed with many acts around the country including "The Scene", "Manyana" "The Prescriptions", "Funky Town", "The Love Bullets".....etc. More recently Joe has released an album with his own band of electro-rockers "Decadence".
Ed...
Ed Kelly has been playing keys for the last 11 years. He has been involved in various bands such as "The Nude & Bigwig" playing ranges of music from original material to R&B, Funk, Soul and Classic Rock & Roll. He just recently released a debut EP with his current original band "Saccade" in which he plays drums & keys. Ed has also played as a resident keyboard player in Charlies Bar in Lanzarote in the summer of 2000 with the band "The Nude" crazy times indeed.
Bill Blackmore...
Bill is a jazz trumpet player from Dublin. Hi-lites of the last few years have been a rooftop performance in Istanbul and a sell-out show in the Royal Albert Hall, London supporting 'The Swell Season'. In addition to all this Bill enjoys a residency every Sunday, playing jazz in 'The Purty Kitchen' in Dublin's Temple Bar area. Bill's other great passion is funk/soul music and he has been lucky to play with the great Irish Band 'Superfly' in their quest for the deepest groove known to man!
